  • Name Edward William PYSING
    Relationshipwith Teresa Ann GOATHAM
Born Mar Q 1862  Faversham, Kent, England See the place on a map and other information about it - if available (many more will be in time); also all individuals with events at this location
    • About 1858 or 9, according to the 1881 census where shown as aged 22 and the same on his marriage certificate (the same year). From this it seems clear that William Pysing that Sarah was living with at the time of the census and the Edward William Pysing she married were one and the same.
However, both the birth registration and baptism (see below) for Edward William suggest he was born in 1862.
GRO ref: PYSING, Edward William q1 1862 Faversham RD 2a 618; GRO online index shows mother's maiden name as Carpenter

Details from GRO death registration entry. The address was the home of his father and step-mother.  There is nothing to show whether or not his wife was present, but since he was in his father's home I guess they may have split up before this, or perhaps when Edward became too ill to work they had to move in with his parents.
