Notes - (Research):Did a twin Eliza exist?
Does the PR, or the transcribed version of the data, show Eliza when it should show Albert?
* I think Albert and Eliza are the same person! *
The lack of a birth registration for an Eliza is not significant, the births of several siblings were not registered. If there was both an Albert and an Eliza they must have been twins - not unusual in this family. Albert's birth was registered, so we might have expected Eliza's birth to have been registered at the same time. Perhaps, though the parents though there was no need, if she had died (she is not with the family in 1851). However, there is no death registration. It is not likely that this would have been missed. Also, we could expect Albert would have been baptised at the same time as Eliza and that Eliza would have been buried in Borden. Neither event is recorded.

Father Edward HUNT, b. 1807, Bredgar, Kent, England
, d. Mar Q 1890, Milton Reg Dist, Kent, England
(Age 83 years) Mother Catherine MILGATE, b. Abt 1808, Pett, Stockbury, Kent, England
, d. Mar Q 1890, Milton Reg Dist, Kent, England
(Age ~ 82 years) Married 11 Feb 1834 St. Giles’ Church, Wormshill, Kent, England
- Sybilla was a witness (I have also seen Sittingbourne given as the place of the wedding but I was sent the Wormshill info. by Michael Nightingale of Wormshill)
An online index of Wormshill marriages also includes this and shows that Edward HUNT was single and of Tunstall, Catharine MILGATE single and of Doddington - unusual, since at this time the requirement was for one of the couple to be 'of' the parish where the marriage took place, but it was where Edward's mother may have been living at the time, so perhaps a concession was made. (Mary, Edward's mother, may have been related to Catharine through her second marriage, as her second husband was also a Milgate.)
