- (Research):Edward SCAWN, described as an 'uncle' in a County Court case in 1870, would appear to be an uncle-by-marriage of Isaac, as his wife's mother was a SCOWN by birth, and so Edward was not an uncle of Isaac's sister Mary, from whom I descend, and not a clue to my Justham or Oliver ancestry.
