But William has wrong surname to be bro of Charles of Jane, Jane is unlikely to have sister Jane so Jane being sister of Elizabeth's father Charles makes best sense. But while only FreeBMD entry of marr of Wm Swan to Jane in approp timescale gives 2 Janes, they are a Nye and a Wedd. Were they a widow? Or the entry elsewhere (due to spelling, use of middle name etc.?)  (Wm and Jane Swan had moved from Maidstone and were living next door to Charles and Jane Simmonds in Bredgar in 1891)
