** Possibly ** the burial of this Nicholas. I am not aware of another Nicholas Cudlip whose burial this could be. HOWEVER, it is important to realise that there could well be Nicholas Cudlips baptised in Tavistock before the date of the surviving PRs and BTs (though if there were any, it would appear they were childless, as there are no baptisms that I have seen of a Nicholas otherwise unaccounted for).
Possibly suggesting the burial was not this Nicholas is that many burial entries at this time showed that the burial was of a child; that this entry does not may indicate it was of an adult. It is probably impossible to be sure this information was always recorded, but may it be possible to look at the entries thoroughly and work out if such an occurrence was at most rare, but I have not done so (nor do I plan to, at least at present).

Notes - If this Nicholas did not die in 1676, it is possible that he was the Nicholas who I shows as the son of Matthew Cudlip and Johan née Hext, with a page here. If they did not have a son he may have gone to live with them - or could have done so anyway due to losing his father - perhaps there was friction with his step-father. It may have course been a pull to Bickleigh rather than a push from Tavistock - maybe his son-less uncle was ill and needed a hand. (Or of course he could co-incidentally have moved to the parish where he had an uncle living, but that seems unlikely, especially as he named his children Matthew and Johan, the names of this Nicholas uncle and aunt in Bickleigh).
However, I think it more likely that Matthew and Johan did have a son of their own, given the same name.
