  	According to her obit. she was aged 14 when she moved to Sittingbourne. This ties in with the year that both of her parents died, and no doubt explains her move to live with her uncle and aunt in Sittingbourne.

  	According to her obit. Caroline moved to the Keycol Hill area about a year after her husband's death in 1935 - but he actually died in 1934. It suggests she moved to this area in about 1935 or 6. Living at "Alfreda" at the time of the 1939 register and of her death. With Caroline in 1939 were her sons Charles and George and one other; listed after them and her only unmarried surviving child, this was probably her youngest son, Frederick Arthur. In 1939 her eldest son and his family were 'next door', or at any rate, the next family listed in the 1939 register; possibly it was to be close to them that she had moved a few years previously.
