    • Living in the same house as her brother-in-law, Frederick Bolton, when he wrote his will in August 1940. Her sister and Frederick's wife, had died a few months before - possibly Elizabeth had moved in to help care for her, or to care for Frederick after her sister's death, if he wasn't very domesticated. Sharing a house, particularly with the extra issues of wartime, may simply have made sense.
    Died Aft 1940
    • Still living 24 Oct 1932 as granted admon for her husband then. After Harry's death she disappears from the electoral roll for Manor Grove, and  I think she was the Elizabeth Jane who then lived at 61 Tustin Street. If so she was still alive in 1939, when the register was compiled. My only problem with the Tustin Street Elizabeth being this one is that she was described as an 'army pensioner'.
In 1940 when her brother in law wrote his will he made his main beneficiary a Mrs Elizabeth Perkins of the same address as him; I think it almost certain that was this Elizabeth.
The death in the index on FreeBMD which looks most likely to be hers is
GRO ref: Perkins, Elizabeth J q4 1948 aged 79 Surrey Mid.E. RD 5g 239; GRO online index shows middle name was Jane
(the Elizabeth J who died in Bromley RD in 1947 can be ruled out by her probate calendar entry; another who died in Surrey North RD, aged given as 90, in 1962 looks like a possibility; others appear too different in terms of age, and not close to where Elizabeth is known to have lived, although of course she could have moved some distance to live with a child in old age)

With Harry dying before 1911 the census of that year does not show how many children Elizabeth had had in her first marriage.
Whilst it seemed likely that Harry and Elizabeth had more children than these 3 well-spaced, who had been born and died between censuses, the BMD index of Christie births and deaths in Camberwell district shows no other children born after the marriage who could be theirs born before the 1901 census. In addition, checking the GRO online index for Christies with a mother's maiden name of Goatham (born anywhere in England or Wales) also finds no other children of Harry and Elizabeth.
