    • Although Christopher and his family clearly moved around a fair bit, this is somewhat further from his 'home' parish of Blackawton than usual, but the name was quite an unusual one (and this clearly was not his cousin of a similar age and with the same name). Christopher was with Susan age (rounded down) shown as 50, Anna aged 11 and Thomas aged 8 - consistent with his wife, daughter 'Hannah' and son Thomas.

Grace has the right birthplace and age to be Christopher's daughter, and the mother's maiden name at the birth registration of a child confirms she was a Prout, so despite being shown as a lodger it seems that Christopher was with his daughter Grace and her husband. They had only married earlier in 1751, so Grace was quite likely living with her parents / father in Dittisham prior to her marriage.
