Name Margery SKIRRETT Suffix [ONS gp] [Parents?] Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Est 1598 - Estimated from date of marriage, and in a gap between known children.
** I don't have firm evidence that Margery was a daughter of William and Margery, I am guessing that she was as they may well have named one daughter after her mother. **
Likely to be a sister of Loveday, since 2 daughters were given the name, but I'm not certain of Loveday's parents either!
(Vivian shows the Margery and Loveday for whom marriage licences were granted in 1617 and 1625 as daughters of John Skeritt and Thomasine Lander. As Thomasine remarried in 1572 they would have been born before then - unlikely given the marriage dates, and looking at baptisms in Tavistock those for children of a John Whitchurch from 1618).

Father The Rev. William SKIRRETT, b. Abt 1562, bur. 24 Nov 1611, St. Andrew’s Church, Whitchurch, Devon, England (Age ~ 49 years) Mother Margery, bur. 14 Dec 1633, St. Eustachius’ Church, Tavistock, Devon, England Married - In 1612, the year after William died, a widow Margery Skirret of Tavistock was involved in a case regarding a will (see Devon Wills Project).
The date suggests it was the will of William, especially as the later burial of a widow Margery cannot be matched with anyone else.

Family John WHITCHURCH, d. Yes, date unknown Married 1617 St. Leonard’s Church, Sheepstor, Devon, England - Date assumed from date of marriage licence.
Boyd's index has a marriage of a Mary Skerret to a ? Witchurch in Sheepstor in 1617 (from the BTs); I suspect this is the marriage of Margaret to John. (BTs to be checked)
