Nathaniel John ELLIS
Set As Default Person -
Name Nathaniel John ELLIS Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Mar Q 1858 Abbotsleigh, Blackawton, Devon, England
- Birthplace shown in the censuses as Halwell to 1881, Blackawton from 1891. In the intervening years Abbotsleigh, where his parents and then Nathaniel himself farmed changed from being in Halwell parish to Blackawton parish, when a detached part of the parish of Halwell was joined onto Blackawton.
I am assuming that Abbotsleigh was where Nathaniel was born, hence the change in the place in the censuses.
