  • Name Love
    Relationshipwith Teresa Ann GOATHAM
    Gender Female
Died Aft 1702  Lenham, Kent, England See the place on a map and other information about it - if available (many more will be in time); also all individuals with events at this location
    • Still alive when her husband died.
Probably died in Lenham as she was described as "of Lenham" in the burial register. I guess she was buried in Boughton Malherbe to be with her husband.
Buried 22 Mar 1709/10  St. Nicholas’ Church, Boughton Malherbe, Kent, England See the place on a map and other information about it - if available (many more will be in time); also all individuals with events at this location
    • Burial register records the burial of a "Mrs. Beacon", who was "of Lenham" and "Widow". (source KFHS CD 31)

As there were Mr. Theodore Beacons buried in 1702 and 1709 (the only 3 Be(a)con events in Boughton Malherbe as recorded on KFHS CD 33, which covers bapt 1665-1839, mar 1671-1838 and bur 1671-1839) it seems reasonable to suppose that Mrs. Beacon was the widow of one of the Theodores. I guess it was the one who was mother of Basil and dau-in-law of Thomas, as I know she existed and haven't found a burial for her in Lenham or elsewhere. The other Mr Theodore Beacon, who I guess was another son of theirs, may not have been married.
    Notes
    • Christian name
Loue, Lone or Love in dau Sibbley's baptism and in Theodore's probate inventory (the 3 letters u, n and v often indistinguishable in writing at this time)

It seems probable her name was Love.

    Married
    • I suspect Theodore and Love married and their son Theodore was baptised (or Theodore son of Theodore by a previous marriage) during the turbulent Civil War and interregnum years for which many PR entries do not survive.
