- PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 2012) very hard to read - yr and 17th clear, month isn't - could be Dec. 1649, Jan 1649/50.
I think it reads "Mrs Becon the wife of Mr Thomas Becon was buried ?January 17th" (register p.55)
(Tyler and KFHS read it as 17 Dec. 1649)
Notes - I suspect the birth year may be a guess that she would have been about the same age as her husband. I'm not convinced.
- (Research):I have looked in Cowper "Canterbury Marriage Licences", both 1568-1618 and 1619-1660 for a marriage between a William Thomas and a Bridget but not found any.
