    • I have a picture of the grave of a William and Sarah Beacon from Lenham - William died 1813 (I think - could be 1818) but grave seems to say aged 50; also it seems to say aged 35 for Sarah so a diff couple? Are death dates of this Wm and Sarah correct? - if the burial register doesn't show age the entries could have been wrongly assumed to belong to these 2. Both Wm's father and g'father were cordwainers so that fits - but was there a cousin/nephew with same name?
