    • Found in the 1911 census in Sittingbourne. There seems to be no death that could be his in or near Milton RD, several possible death registrations elsewhere in Kent, but as there is only one that could be his wife and that was in Thanet it is probable that James also died on Thanet and this is his death:

      With both of their daughters living on Thanet it is not surprising James and his wife lived there in old age at the end of their lives.
