      I believed he died as a result of injuries sustained in WW1 (I understood this from being told by my parents from a child - due to the consequeces on his daughter, 'Dadee')

    Walter did not die during the War, but I understand he is one of the many whose lives may not have been claimed by the war but died within a few years of it through the effects of the war, injury or disease.
    Hence I think he should be honoured as a war victim on this website.
