It appears the birth was registered late, as it was handwritten at the end of the page. For some reason it was crossed out, presumably accidentally and then re-entered. In the first handwritten entry the initial for the third Christian name was ambiguous, and may have been a G, although definitely 'S' when rewritten; it is clearly G in the 1939 register, so I suspect 'S' was a misreading. Middle names confirmed by baptism entry.
