The baptism entries show her as born 9th (duplicate book, where appears to be 'corrected' from 10th) or 10th (PR), both show June 1901. Maybe there is a mistake in one record, or possibly her birth was registered after the 42 day maximum and her dob was 'adjusted' to avoid a fine.

Lilian was baptised at the same time as her sister Winifred and 3 first cousins, two Gotham cousins, children of her uncle Albert Gotham and Ellen Matthew, daughter of her late aunt Mary (née Gotham).

  	GRO ref: Hemmings, Jessie Louisa to Curtis, William Henry q4 1897 Plymouth RD 5b 481 Details from DFHS transcribed data (shows Jessie Louisa Hemmings married William Henry Curtis, no other info about the couple included) Like so many, Jessie filled in the 1911 census incorrectly where years of marriage and number of children were concerned. As a widow she should have left these fields blank, but her entries are readable although crossed out. She shows the number of years since she first married (22) and the total children and children living and died also appear to apply to both marriages, the figures being 6, 5 and 1. With her in 1911 were her 2 sons from her first marriage and 3 children from her second. A child from her first marriage had died in infancy. The GRO online index (with mother's maiden name) seems to agree these figures.
