Name William GOTHAM Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Baptised 10 Mar 1768 St. Andrew’s Church, Ipplepen, Devon, England - From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 21 Jan 2016)
"[March] the 10th. William the Son of John & Elizabeth Gotham" - under heading 'Baptisms 1768'
Gender Male Died Yes, date unknown Buried - I did think this William might have been the one buried in St. Saviour's Parish in Dartmouth in Dec 1802 (from PR entry, image on FMP) and he still might be, but I now think it more likely that was an infant William.
I had guessed it was this William, as this one disappears from Ipplepen, and does not seem to have been in Broadhempston where his mother lived with her second husband. His two sisters were in Dartmouth in 1802 so he could similarly have moved to Dartmouth, or have been staying with one of them, possibly to be nursed by them, in his final illness.
And I hand't spotted another family with a link to Dartmouth, but now I have. William and Mary had a son William baptised in Plymouth in 1800, and another William baptised in Deptford (Kent) in 1804, suggesting the first William had died by then. Between the two Williams a daughter Mary was baptised in Sep 1802 - in Dartmouth. Hence my thinking it more likely that the burial was of that William.
