      Date and place based on date of two of the possible baptisms. Three of William's children had a middle name. As was common, probably the norm with middle names at this time, they were not standard Christian names but family surnames given as 2nd Christian names. Of the 3 one was William's wife's maiden name, another her mother's maiden name, and I do not know the origin of the third, Evans. It may give a clue to William's parents. (Where I have worked out the origins of such names, they include 'in law' relations, and very occasionally non-relations who probably played a significant part in the life of the name-chooser.
