Gender Male Occupation From 20 May 1918 to 1942 Royal Navy - There are two seamen's service documents (images on Ancestry, viewed 6 July 2018) regarding Victor's time in the Royal Navy. He first joined in 1918 for a period of 12 years, and then continued to serve until 1942 when he became medically unfit for service, so his service included the last few months of WW1 as well as the first couple of years of WW2.
