Name Ann Jarvis LAMBLE Relationship with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born 23 Jul 1822 Rickham, East Portlemouth, Devon, England - From baptism entry - abode shown as Rickham, and census entry (looked like Pickhorn, East Portlemouth but Richam fits)
Baptised 11 Aug 1822 St. Winwaloe’s Church, East Portlemouth, Devon, England - From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 11 Sep 2020)
"1822 Born July 23d: Baptized Aug: 11 No. 152. Ann Jarvis Daughter of (omitted to be inserted in the proper place S: Wells) John and Mary, Lamble, abode: Rickham, father's occupation: Tailor, ceremony performed by: S: Wells Rector" (entry is immediately after than of her sister Catharine, presumably entering Catharine's drew attention to the fact Ann had been missed)
Gender Female Census 7 Apr 1861 East Portlemouth, Devon, England Buried 1897 St. Peter’s Church, Stoke Fleming, Devon, England Died 6 Jun 1897 Memorial Aft 1897 St. Winwaloe’s Church, East Portlemouth, Devon, England - Commemoration on a gravestone with her sister Betsy, next to the grave of their parents.
Siblings 2 sisters Patriarch & Matriarch John LAMBLE, b. Abt 1795, d. 13 Aug 1874 (Age ~ 79 years) (Father)
Mary JARVIS, b. Abt 1789, d. 18 Jul 1871 (Age ~ 82 years) (Mother)Notes - (Research):I had Ann's surname as Thornton (from Arthur French info. - given as probable) but I'm now sure her maiden name was Lamble. Ann Thornton (who had a maternal g'mother Jarvis) could have been the Ann who died in Newton A dist q1 1852. (the 1851 census shows Ann Thornton with her parents and unmarried)
Her commemoration on a gravestone in East Portlemouth with her sister Betsy, daughter of John and Mary Lamble, confirms what I already suspected and there is a PR entry for her baptism as Ann Jarvis LAMBLE.
