This just shows Bredgar as the birthplace (i.e. no house or street named), and the same for the informant (Harry's mother's) place of residence. No father named, no occupation given for the mother. Although born in June, Harry's birth was not registered until 31 October.

Notes - Possibly not Thomas Acres' biological son. Note Bredgar birthplace, which may suggest Mary (his mother) was not by then living with Thomas - or did she simply return to her relations for the birth? The 1861 census shows she was already in Deal, but not at that time working for Thomas Acres. Harry was listed after his sister Betsy in 1881 census, although older, possibly because he was not Thomas' son (I have seen this sometimes in other census entries for children who weren't the husband's).
His baptism entry just shows his mother as "single woman", with no suggestion of the father.
Thomas' will is not clear, simply describing Harry and Betsey as "my natural or reputed children". If it had simply said "my natural children" I would be happy to assign them to him; was the "or reputed" a legal nicety in case anyone questioned whether they were his, or was he himself in some doubt?
By 1868 his mother Mary had had 3 children, one of whom had died. In that year she brought a case in the "Borough Petty Sessions. - These sessions were held on Thursday last, before the Mayor, G. Hughes and R. Hazell, Esqrs., the only case being an application by Mary Goatham for orders in bastardy against Thomas Acres, of Upper Deal, who she alleged was the father of her two illegitiviate children. Mr. Drew appeared for defendant, and said he was willing to consent, on defendant's behald, to an order of 2s. on each child. After a brief consultation, however, the Magistrates made the usual order of 2s. 6d. per week in each case."
(from the Deal, Walmer and Sandwich Mercury, 22 August, 1868, p.3)
However, as Thomas was will to consent to the order without any argument I think he probably was Harry's father and show him as such here.

The births of all Mary's six children, and the deaths of those who died in infancy, were all registered as Goatham. The only two to survive infancy subsequently appear to have used Acres consistently - when with their mother, and possible father, in 1881, and in the 1891 and 1901 censues, after which in 1906 Harry died and Bessie married.
