John and Ann enjoyed almost 47 years of marriage when she died; the census was over 48 years from John's marriage. Near enough, I think, to see this in accord with the registration date above.    Like so many, John helpfully supplied the wrong information on the 1911 census, giving the number of eyars of marriage completed, and children dead and living. This shows John had had 5 children in total, with 2 having died. I suspect the 5th may have been born in the gap between the births of William and Maria.
