      1861: boarder at 25 Prospect St., Plymouth (Charles) - with Eliza Dainty, the head of household (47, stay maker) and her dau Eliza J (16, -);
      1871: boarder at 8, East St., St. Andrews, Plymouth; appears to be boarding with a Joseph Dyer, a Chelsea Pensioner, born Roach, Cornwall;
      1881: boarding in 7 St. Mary St., East Stonehouse (Devonport). (Age wrong but see research notes)
      1891: in Tavistock workhouse (carpenter, age 60; name in full so definitely this John Jury)
    • (Research):1881 census: Shown as aged 37 when should be 47, but single, a carpenter, born Tavistock - looking at other censuses there were no other John Jury's with details like this, and no sign of a 47 year old John Jury to fit, so I'm confident it was this one.
