    • The doc regarding the dispute over administration of the will of her grandfather, John Vogwill, shows that Johanna and John had a dau Betsey, who was married to a Thomas King.
      A Betsey Simons was bapt where Johanna and John marr, Tamerton Foliott, in 1816, and a Betsey King is in the censuses, b TF and with husband Thomas, address matching that in will dispute doc.

      Betsey was in one headed by her husband Thomas King, there with them was John Vogwill, Betsey's uncle, though he was simply shown as a lodger. There were 3 other lodgers - one year old Augusta M Granville, and 2 other ag labs, both aged 27, Hankles Man and John Harton.
      The 1861 census shows that Augusta was a niece, probably of Thomas.

      The above refers to several children but gives no data. Looking through all the Symons (and variants) children baptised in Tamerton, 1806-1826, there only seem to be 2 children of this marriage, the two who were later in dispute over their grandfather's will.
