A nurse was with the family at the time of the 1851 census (relationship to family shown as nurse, not a nurse boarding or lodging in the house). It is not clear why she was there; most commonly nurses are found present when there is a new born child, but there was none nor judging by the births registration index was any born soon after. Maybe Honoria suffered a still-birth or miscarriage.
The BMD index suggest this couple had no children, though Honoria would doubtless have been a mother figure to her step-children.
