Is this the right death?
Her brother in laws wife, also Ann, also seems to have died in 1836. The other Ann was aged 80 i.e. was much closer to James in age, while the one who died aged 74 was close to John in age.
However, I think it more likely that the 2 who died at Chaddlehanger were husband and wife, and the 2 who died in the village were also husband and wife.
Although I have photo of the grave unfortunately you can't see the date of this Ann's burial. I will aim to go back on a future visit to Devon to check it.
