Farmer - Working on the family farm by 1891, Mark was the only son still living at home working with his father at Urgles at the time of the 1901 census.
Although not living at Urgles in 1911, he was living in Clearbrook, about 1.5 miles from Urgles, but probably no more than a mile across country, and his occupation was shown as 'Farmer's son working on farm', clearly implying that he was working at Urgles, and that is where he appears to have remained until he died.
