    • The Walkhampton Manor records show that a heriot became due on the death of an Ann Vogwell on 19 Oct 1832; I guess it was this Ann, though I have been unable to find her burial to confirm this.
      It does not appear to have been in Walkhampton.
      Maybe in her final illness she went to be cared for by a relation elsewhere and was buried where she died, or as a widow she may have left the parish.

      I don't know much about Anne's family. I believe she had a daughter Elizabeth, who I suspect was the Elizabeth Skinner who married an Edward Tickell in Whitchurch in 1805. She was described as "of Whitchurch" at the time, and since she may well have been living with her mother and step-father in Whitchurch that fits. Tickell was not a very common name in the area, and so she was likely to have been the Elizabeth who was buried in Whitchurch in 1808. No baptisms of Tickells were recorded in the area, judging by the transcripts on FMP (don't include all possible parishes, in particular Tavistock, very close to Whitchurch, not covered).

      Hence Anne may have had no children or grandchildren to care for her.
