Notes - I don't know that Francis was the son of Philip and Mary, but as he was married in South Brent and this seems to be the only Trant familiy with links to the village, I am guessing he was.
However, Mary was with the family at the time of the 1851 census but shown as "visitor" rather than "mother" in the 'relation to head of family' column.
