  	Granted probate for his mother's estate on 9 July 1596. Still living when his father-in-law John Still died in 1609. Also living according to the 'Visitation of Somersetshire, 1623' (Colby); though this shows his wife as Mary. She was also shown as daughter of Bp. Styll; clearly from the bishop's will it was his daughter Sara that William married, so I don't know if two wives have been muddled in the visitation or if his one wife was assigned the wrong Christian name.
