      (right age, most likely RD)
      No other reg of a John Smith of the right age in Plymouth, 1901-1933; one whose death was reigstered in q2 1917 aged 86 was close to the right age but I haven't found this John in the 1911 census, so his death being the 1904 seems more likely.
