I have only managed to find John and Elizabeth in the 1871 census. This shows Elizabeth as aged 36; this Elizabeth would have been aged 38, but the other only 33! I think it more likely that this Elizabeth would reduce her age a little, to make herself appear closer in age to her husband (age recorded as 35) than the other Elizabeth would increase her age to make her appear older.
