- It is not clear whether Elizabeth and Margaret were daughters of both John and his wife Joan Hussey or just of John, by a previous wife. The way Joan's IPM (abstract on BHO website) speaks of them as being the daughters of John and does mention a relationship to her suggests the latter, but it may just be like that because a relationship to her was not relevant.
