When was Richard born? Baptism not in KFHS transcripts for Canterbury, nor on FMP transcripts (as at 2 Mar 2013)
One possible reason for not finding his baptism is that he was born before his parents married, but no baptism of a Richard Lemar was found either.
- a Richard junior as well as Richard senior is in Canterbury poll book of 1832, suggesting he had reached 21, so was born no later than 1811;
- rounded down age 30 in 1841 census (b 1806-11)
- 41 in 1851 census (b 1809-10)
- 50 in 1861 census (b 1810-11)
- 59 in 1871 census (b 1811-12)
- 74 in 1881 census (b 1806-07)
- 71 in dth registration in 1883 (b 1811-12)
From the above 1811 would seem the most likely.

I could have switched this Martha and her granddaughter, though a baby dying fairly soon after birth and an older person dying in the middle of winter seem the most likely.
