Bailey Great Grandfather
Henry Bailey (b 1866). "castle reah yard" must be a reference to the yard of the Castlereagh Hotel in Seaham. Henry like his drink and this was presumably where he did his drinking at one time. The Hotel opened 1878, becoming the Carlton in 1982 before closing in the 1990s. A picture of it can be seen here. I don't know who the Harry Dixin (Dixon?) was who took the photo; probably a friend rather than a relation, and given the location, most likely a drinking companion.
