  • Name Dennys WILDBORE
    Relationshipwith Teresa Ann GOATHAM
Baptised 9 Dec 1565  St. Mary the Virgin Church, Minster in Thanet, Kent, England See the place on a map and other information about it - if available (many more will be in time); also all individuals with events at this location
    • From PR entry (image on FMP, viewed 30 Dec 2019)
      "Deceb. 9 Dionisia wildbore baptizata"

A Dennys was named as a daughter in her father's will, hence I think this is George's daughter although no parents were named in the baptism register entries at this time.
To add weight to this, her step-mother's brother left her a bequest in his will, but much smaller than to his blood reations, suggesting she was more distantly related and not the daughter of Alice Sackett with a baptism unfound.
    Gender Female
    Bequest 1604
In the will of Richard Sackett, her step-mother's brother
    • Denise was one of two people left much smaller bequests than the others in this will. Both were relations of George Wildbore, who was the brother-in-law of Richard Sackett, but with no known blood link to Richard. (All those left larger bequests were linked by blood).
Residence 1604  Birchington, Kent, England See the place on a map and other information about it - if available (many more will be in time); also all individuals with events at this location
    • Described as 'of Birchington' in the will of Richard Sackett
    Bequest 1607
In the will of her father
    • George left his daughter 10 shillings to be paid to her within one year after his decease.

Mother Alice,   b. Est 1536,   d. Yes, date unknown  (Age ~ 35 years)
    Married Bef 1562
    • Since George left a bequest to a daughter Dennys in his will, and there is no sign of a baptism of a Dennys / Dionisia from his marriage to Alice Sackett, I think she was probably the Dennys baptised in 1565. It seems likely that the three children baptised in 1562, 1565 and 1570 had the same parents, so I think it probable all 3 were children of George. (No parents were named in the PR until Sep. 1571). An Alice was buried in 1571; whilst this could have been another sibling of the 3 but who had been baptised before the start of the register, it seems most likely it was George's wife before Alice Sackett / the mother of Dennys et al.; her burial was probably at Minster and so should appear in the register and I have found no other.
