Notes:
The Holy Trinity Church at which my grandmother was confirmed was not the current Holy Trinity Church, Margate but one which stood in Trinity Square (which is not even in the parish of the current Holy Trinity Church, although the histories are linked, as can be seen in this brief history).
The old Holy Trinity Church was built in 1825, but apart from the tower destroyed by enemy action in 1943; subsequently the tower was pulled down, despite its considerable enhancement of the Margate skyline as can be seen in old photos.
