Elizabeth seems to have had at least 2 granddaughters called Caroline, both of whom were living when she died. They would only have been aged about 9 and 7 when Elizabeth died, and only about 6 and 4 when she wrote her will, so it seems a little odd one of them should have been selected amongst her grandchildren to be left a clock and warming pan. I wonder if there was another, older Caroline I haven't discovered? Or maybe there was only one, and I have accidentally shown her as the daughter of…
