Family 1 GARDNER, d. Bef Nov 1791 Married - Susannah is referred to as a widow, Susannah Gardner in her sister Mary's will written 29 Nov 1791
My original thought, before East Kent PRs were largely online, was that it was probably before 1752 hence not in Canterbury marriage index - though could have been elsewhere.
However, now most marriages can be found online, I still can't find a marriage record. It may be that Susannah married [-?-] GARDNER as a widow.
In that case this could be the Susannah who married John SHEPP / SKIPP in 1747. However, I can't find a marriage of a Susan[nah] SHEPP / SKEPP / SKIPP to anyone that could be this Susannah, i.e. even if she had 3 (or more) marriages and her marriage to [-?-] GARDNER wasn't as a SHEPP etc. I could find no evdience of an in-between marriage (all names looked for incl. variants as recognised by FMP, 23 Dec 2022; only searched for events in Kent)
(A Nathanael Gardener married a Susanna Duryez in 1776 in Canterbury, but it was by licence, and that shows Susanna was a 24 year old spinster, accoridng to Willis index)
The marriage to John SHEPP shows Susanna or both as of 'Old Romney'. If they were living there, so close to the Sussex border, a remarriage could easily have been in Sussex. A John SHEPP was buried in Brookland, very close to Old Romney, in 1748 - could be Susanna's husband.
