      I 1st guessed the burial was this Edward, though there are no details to confirm. Bapt and bur from 1674, marr from 1607, and no other entries for an Edward Light in Walkhampton. Since writing "Doesn't mean e.g. his grandfather with the same name couldn't have moved to Walkhampton from elsewhere, and the dth be his." I have now found his grandfather WAS called Edward, had a family in Sampford Spiney but no sign of a burial there. I suspect this is the burial of Edward senr.
