Gender Female Died Yes, date unknown Siblings 3 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 person of an unknown gender Patriarch & Matriarch GOATHAM, d. Yes, date unknown (Great Grandfather)
Joane RYDER, d. Between 1618 and 1619 (Grandmother)Notes - (Research):What became of Mary and her family?
During the Civil Wars / interregnum years there were some omissions in the PRs for Herne; may be the family died at this time.
If they moved then perhaps it was to a parish whose PRs don't go far enough back or where there is a gap in the registers. I have searched the index on FMP thoroughly for surnames H*bb* in Herne, H*bb*n* in Kent, also tried substituting l for one or both bs, and just one b (or l). Obviously other mis-transcriptions are possible, or could the 'H' have been dropped?
An inventory of 1674 for a 'John Hubbing' of St Lawrence in Thanet is in an index on FMP; I will view this to see if it appears to be Richard and Mary's son John. I cannot find a burial to match this date, maybe he was a mariner and lost at sea.
An Ales Hobbine was married in Blean in 1697, I thought maybe the family had moved there, but can find no evidence of it.
