    • In the entry for Thomas' bapt it is noted that it was a private one and that his parents were paupers

Buried 29 Apr 1790  St. Mary’s Church, Bishopsbourne, Kent, England See the place on a map and other information about it - if available (many more will be in time); also all individuals with events at this location
    • Acc to KFHS transcript (CD 23) this burial was of an infant called John. However, not only do I not know of a John, but this Thomas presumably died before his bro also called Thomas was born c 1792, and this burial is a few days after his baptism, which was private, implying his life was at risk. There is no other Thomas bur recorded in the transcript for Bishopsbourne to fit, so I think this must be a mistake in the register or the transcription.

    • Seen the PR entry.
Though the entry generally referred to Stephen Lucas he signed his name as Stephen Lukus!
Mary made her mark, as did her sister Martha as a witness.

The other witness was J. Saffery, who was a witness to most marriages at St. Mary Northgate at this time and so probably no connection to the family.
