    Whether the baptism took place in this font I don't know.
    This font probably dates from when there was first a church in Kingston. It was rescued in 1775 from being used as a feeding trough for pigs, but not restored to use as a font in Kingston Church until 1931. I didn't see another font which may have been used after this one was thrown out, the date of which could have provided a clue as to when this was replaced.
