Aged 77 in bur register, 79 in death registration. 77 agrees with baptism but not census, where it looks like he inflated his age slightly to reduce the gap between him and Mary!
    Notes
    • Not found in the 1861 census, which may mean I have the wrong death and burial. There is a John Milgate of about the right age in Boughton under Blean in 1861, but he was there in 1851 when this John Milgate was with his wife. It seems unlikely  the Davington-born John who was living in Boughton would have been buried in Wormshill.
