Emigrated to Australia; I have read with his brother but the census entries seem to make clear he went later. An inward passenger list shows him arriving in Victoria on the ship the "John Elder" in July 1886.
George remained a bachelor all of his life and became an electoral officer for the State of Victoria.

Although he later followed his brothers in emigrating to Australia he was still in England when his uncle's wife died, so his emigration would not have been an obstacle to inheriting.
