No note with this burial, plenty did - "son of ...", "dau of ...", "wife of ..." - so I think more likely this Frances than her g'dau. Also, widows less likely to have a comment than a wife, so more likely widowed by this time.

Notes - (Research):Where was Frances from?
There was a settlement certificate issued to Harrietsham by Broomfield for James Carter, with wife Elizabeth, and three children, dated 12 Jun 1725.
Was Frances one of the 3 children referred to in the removal order? Possibly not as James and Elizabeth had at least 4 children younger than their daughter Frances (though born by 1725); Frances herself may well have been out at work and living away from home.
This Frances appears to have been living in Headcorn by 1731 when her illegitmate child was baptised.
The baptism of the known children of James and Elizabeth fit neatly with the marriage of a James Carter to an Elizabeth Tayler in Headcorn in 1702; Elizabeth appears to have been baptised in Headcorn so this could explain how Frances came to be living there.
After a son named after her husband one named after his father they named a son James, not an obvious choice from her husband's family so it seems quite likely she was Frances the daughter of James and Elizabeth and her son James was named after her father.
Since writing the above I've found a family tree which seems to show that James and Elizabeth were her parents. I don't know what evidence the owner has for the connection, whether more than I have or not.
