** I am guessing the marriage should be Rayfield **
The marriage shown here is recorded as being of a "Reginald A Goatham" - but there doesn't seem to have been any such person! It seems to me most likely to be for Rayfield A; it can't be the 2nd marriage of his father Reginald R, as not only was Reginald's first wife (Rayfield's mother) still alive but Reginald's probate calendar entry shows she was still his wife when he died.
It may well be that when the index was made the father's name was accidentally glanced at and the first name recorded from there. The fact that Rayfield and Edith were about the same age also increases the liklihood it was Rayfield, not his father, who married Edith. In addtion a Rayfield R is recorded at the same address as Edith in the electoral registers for the years immediately preceeding their deaths.
