[Unknown] SPRINGFIELD
Set As Default Person -
Name [Unknown] SPRINGFIELD Relationship
with Teresa Ann GOATHAM Born Abt 1645 - A rough estimate based on estimate of dob of his son.
Gender Male Paternity allegation 4 Mar 1666/67 Hucking, Kent, England
Edward Springfield no longer accused - * This quite likely does not refer to this Springfield, i.e. the father of William *
However, there is a good chance it does - William and Thomas who I suspect to be his brother both named a son Edward. If it was not their father, it was probably a fairly close relation - Springfield appears not to have been a common name. And I think the document interesting, and worth recording!

From Depositions Q/SB/10/13 4 March 1666/67
(document held at the Kent History and Library Centre)
Died Yes, date unknown Notes - (Research):I don't know that the 3 'sons' shown here were brothers - probably fairly closely related at least.
Many years ago I was sent Springfield PR entries for Wormshill and Wichling - going back they stop abruptly in 1700. Could be when the family moved to this area - or when the researcher had investigated back to?
(I've also discovered that although the information was carefully and neatly presently, there were errors in most of the dates - many were a few months out, or for the previous or following year! Some of these errors are probably still on this site.
My research -
very feint entry for a marr
