    • (Research):A Jane Beacon of St Mildred's Parish in Canterbury married William Bedford of Whitstable on 13 Jan 1711/2, no occupations or marital status shown for either.
      Was it the remarriage of this Jane? She would have had to have been at least in her 50s, and I haven't found burial of Clement so don't know if possible.
      Appear to be be no baptisms of children of this couple in Whitstable, so Jane could have been in her 50s. A William Bedford, possibly this one, was buried in Whitstable in 1715, described as a householder. No obvious burial of Jane. The William who died in 1715 left a will which might help to clarify things.
